Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Draft Advisory Circular AC 150/5230-4C – Aircraft Fuel Storage, Handling, Training, and Dispensing on Airports, is being circulated to interested industry associations to obtain comments and recommendations of actions to be taken.

The FAA recommends the guidelines contained in this AC to assist airports and Tenant Fueling Agents in providing the minimum requirements, specifications and guidance for the storage, handling, and dispensing of aviation fuel on airports. Additionally, this AC provides standards for the training of personnel who conduct these activities. Meeting the standards in this advisory circular will qualify as meeting the intent of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 139, Certification of Airports.

Please review this draft document, and comment as appropriate. Please identify your recommended changes, provide a rationale for the recommendations, and specify the sections of the document they affect. The final document may be revised as a result of comments received and our further review.
