Notice of the annual meeting of the Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Working Group, Inc. is hereby given.  The meeting will be held at the DeVos Place Convention Center, 303 Monroe Ave., NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, September 9, 2019 11:00 A.M. local time.  The meeting is called for the purpose of receiving annual reports of the Officers and Directors, and to transact such business which comes before the ARFFWG.

The ARFF Working Group Annual Educational Conference and Training Symposium is the premier event for the aviation firefighting industry.  We expect more than 60+ companies to exhibit at this  year’s program.  This is the perfect opportunity to visit and shop for products and services that deal specifically with the aviation fire safety and protection industry.

Our program provides aviation fire safety manufacturers/suppliers unmatched international exposure for their products to the largest gathering of ARFF professionals in one location.

Our members are well versed on the products and services they want to see in the exhibit area. For some of our members, this is the one chance each year to see the products and services that are available to the aviation firefighting community.

This is the premier event for the aviation firefighting industry.  The 4-day program will be packed with seminars and the opportunity to network with airport firefighters and industry experts from around the world.  Please review the Exhihibitor Prospectus for more detailed information.  Register at this LINK

Additional information including the Exhibitor Kit will be available very soon.

Nominations will be received for Directors from ODD Numbered Sections outlined in the current ARFFWG Bylaws until  June 9, 2019.  Directors of the ARFFWG carry out the management functions of the ARFFWG.  From these Directors five (5) Officers are chosen who are delegated to run the day to day administration.  The Director positions are an excellent opportunity to become directly involved in ARFFWG operations.

We encourage each of you to consider running.  Nomination forms are available from ARFFWG headquarters or on the website.  Nomination forms must be postmarked by June 9, 2019.  All nominees will be allowed an opportunity to introduce themselves, and address the audience during the Business Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2019.  Follow this LINK for information on current nominees.  All nomination forms will be posted for all to readNOMINATION FORM.

The ARFF Working Group’s Annual Awards Program was developed to recognize superior achievement in the advancement of aviation fire protection, prevention, operations, equipment, training, management, and media participation.  These awards will reflect the consensus of a peer group committee formed from within the membership of the ARFF Working Group, in conjunction with the Board of Directors.  The recipients of such awards do not need to be members of the ARFF Working Group.
