The ARFF Working Group, Boeing Fire Department and Port of Seattle Fire Department are once again teaming up to provide some spectacular training in 2023 for aircraft construction, familiarization and educational workshop.

This dynamic 3-day workshop will be held at three (3) different locations throughout the Puget Sound area. It will offer a wealth of knowledge and information related to aircraft construction and familiarization as well as various ARFF related topics and discussions. We promise that you will not be disappointed and will leave with an enhanced knowledge and understanding of aircraft and their functions. |

Proper Clothing: When visiting the Boeing Plant, long pants should be worn. Proper footwear is mandatory. When walking through manufacturing areas (including transportation/pedestrian aisles), wear footwear that is stable and provides reasonable protection from hazards. Your Shoes Must: · Cover toes and heels. · Be made of sturdy material that resists cuts and punctures. · Have heels shorter than 2” high with a heel base larger than 1” square. · Have soles at least ¼” thick for protection from sharp objects. · Have slip-resistant soles (like rubber or neoprene). If your shoes do not meet these requirements, they are NOT acceptable for walking in the factory. Meals: A full breakfast buffet is included with the rate (single) at the Crown Plaza Hotel. Lunches will be provided at the Museum of Flight and SEATAC. You will be able to purchase your meal at the Boeing Cafeteria in the Renton Plant on the final day. |
