    It is indicated in the advisory circular 150/5210-23 page 57 – Appendix B – that for a cargo aircraft with a reported fire, the IC orders exterior water stream to top of fuselage above heat bloom to cool metal.

    What tactical firefighting benefits do you have by cooling the exterior of the fuselage for an interior fire? Are you aware of any studies evaluating the cooling efficiency of such a tactic? In the affirmative could direct us to it? Thank you.
