Working for the MOD since 1977 as a FF since 1982.
1982 – 1996 as FF, Royal Netherlands Air force (RNLAF)
1997 – 1999 as FF instructor
1999 – 2000 as On Scene Commander Airbase Eindhoven
2000 – 2002 as WO Preparation FF, (this period I followed the FF Academy for officers in the Netherlands)
2002 – 2006 as Fire Chief Airbase Eindhoven
2006 – 2011 as Senior employee for the Military Aviation Authority (FF and Security)
2011 (South) Sudan for 6 months as an ops-officer
2011 – until now as Deputy Fire Chief for Fire Services of the RNLAF
Also a NATO CRFF panel member for 8 years.
