Risto Aatola joined the Swedish Air Force 1991 and started a career as Incident Commander in 1996 and has been working at several Air Force bases during the years. Since many years Risto has been working for the Air Force Academy as Instructor and at present with the rank of Captain serving as Chief Instructor for the training of Air Force ARFF Incident Commanders and other personnel within the Air Force rescue services. Ristos responsibilities is also to develop the ARFF function as well as the training program including monitoring and quality assurance of fire rescue, tactics, rules and equipment.
