No one was hurt Sunday afternoon when the plane went off the runway while landing

OMAHA, Neb. —

Omaha Airport Authority confirmed an airplane attempting a landing at Millard Air Field went off the runway Sunday afternoon.

Three people were on board the aircraft when it landed at 1:59 p.m.

No injuries are reported.

According to the airport authority, the plane was halfway down the runway when the nose gear began to shimmy.

The plane went off the left side of the runway. The airport temporarily shut down while emergency crews investigated.

The aircraft is now in a hangar and the airport is back open.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
