A plane suffered an accident at Salvador airport late this Wednesday (10). The plane lost control and ended up in the vegetation that surrounds the runways. Passengers were removed from the aircraft, and then instructed to remove their luggage normally, inside the airport.
Flight AD 4372 departed from Viracopos, in Campinas, bound for Salvador. In a note, the airline reported that all passengers and crew disembarked safely and normally. “The company regrets any inconvenience caused and is providing all necessary assistance”, says the company. “They warned that it was close that he was about to land, advised him to put on his seat belts. But when he landed, the braking did not hold, the runway was wet and he ended up going over the runway limit”, said a passenger, in an interview with TV Bahia. There is still no information on what caused the accident.
