BALTIMORE (WBFF)- Anne Arundel County Fire Units are on scene of an incident at BWI – Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

There were reports of a plane that slid off the taxiway.

FOX45’s sister station WJLA flew over the scene, aerials show a plane in the grass.

Anne Arundel County Fire Crews are on the scene. A spokesperson told FOX45 they got a call from BWI at 6:55am for an incident involving an aircraft.

Two medic units were sent initially. By 7:45am. four medic units and an ambulance bus were on scene evaluating passengers.

No one has been taken to the hospital.

Airport officials tell FOX45 a Spirit Airlines flight 696 from Las Vegas arrived at BWI Marshall Airport at about 6:18 a.m.

The flight had 111 people on board. The flight landed safely and without incident.

As the aircraft taxied to the airport terminal, it slid off a taxiway into the grass. There were no injuries.

The BWI Marshall Airport Fire and Rescue Department responded.

Airport and airline personnel are working to move the passengers from the aircraft to the terminal using airport shuttle buses.
