KINGSVILLE — Chief of Naval Air Training officials said a jet crashed Friday at Naval Air Station-Kingsville.
Two pilots were flying a T45-C aircraft when it crashed at 2:38 p.m., said Lt. Michelle Tucker, public affairs officer for Chief of Naval Air Training.
The pilots ejected from the aircraft just short of the runway inside the airfield perimeter fence and suffered minor injuries. They were taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment, Tucker said.
A release from the base stated the crash is under investigation.
