TANNER, Ala. (WHNT) – No injuries have been reported after an emergency landing left a small plane in a field in County Limestone.
The small plane made an emergency landing around 5:30 p.m. just north of Pryor Field Regional Airport. The plane crashed into a local farm.
Mobile home slams into power pole in Morgan County
State troopers and the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department both responded to the scene.
The plane’s right wing broke during landing, but the plane did not catch fire in the accident. The pilot was the only passenger on the plane at the time of landing.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
