Firefighters from Droitwich and Malvern were among those who raced to help the pilot after the emergency crash-landing in a field in at Shirlheath, near Kingsland, in Herefordshire.
Crews from Ledbury, Leominster and Kingsland also went to the scene after a report of a light aircraft coming down in a field after engine failure.
The pilot executed a ‘bumpy landing’ on Thursday, May 21.
