ORLANDO, Fla. — The Fire Department at Orlando International Airport is investigating the cause of a fire at one of their retaurants that filled the immediate area with smoke Wednesday evening.
Officials at the airport reported the presence of smoke in the area by the Burger King just after 7 p.m.
Operations for travelers using gates 70-99 were briefly disrupted while the fire department tracked down the source of the smoke and extinguished the fire.
They haven’t commented on exactly what caused the fire.
Officials say operations at the affected gates will be able to resume once the smoke is cleared from the area.
