The Hercules landed normally and when he was rolling down a taxiway, he suffered the incident. The cause of the incident, according to experts consulted, is a total hydraulic failure, which caused the main landing gear of the Hercules aircraft, manufactured by the American Lockheed Martin, to be retracted.

The C-130 Hércules has registration FAC1001 and was destined for the Tres Esquinas Air Base, located in the Department of Caquetá, in eastern Colombia.

The investigations are carried out by the Colombian aeronautical authorities and the military, to find out the cause of the Hercules incident.

The passengers were unharmed and transported to the CATAM military platform.
