An executive plane ended up leaving the runway when landing at Ijuí Airport, a city located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, this Friday, December 15th.

The aircraft is a Cessna Citation Mustang, carrying up to 5 passengers, which, according to data from the FlightRadar24 tracking platform, left Curitiba at 4pm, arriving around 1 hour later in Ijuí.

The city in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul has a runway of 1,100 meters, and at the time of the accident there was light rain at the Airport. The jet was unable to stop and passed the end of threshold 18, stopping in a rocky embankment.

The plane is registered in the name of Roma Participações, a company from Ijuí. So far, there are no reports of injuries in the accident.
