The plane took down power lines as it careened toward the ground, sparking a small fire near Harkins Slough and Lee roads, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ashley Keehn said. The fire has been extinguished.

PG&E is working to restore power to the affected area, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash, Keehn said.
