A New Hampton (Missouri) Firefighter was critically injured in a fire on Monday. It is reported that 50-year-old Donar Jordan, a volunteer Firefighter with the New Hampton Fire Protection District (NW Missouri) was battling a grass fire near Route F, north of Bethany when he was burned. FF Jordan was medevac’d to the Burn Unit KU Medical Center (Kansas City) in critical condition. He had surgery yesterday but we currently do not have an update-more to follow. NORTH CAROLINA FIREFIGHTER REMAINS CRITICAL AFTER BEING STRUCK AT SCENE
That Pamlico County Firefighter is still fighting for her life after she was hit by a car at a fire scene last week. FF Meagan Speciale remains in critical condition at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Speciale was operating at a fire in Beaufort County on March 5 and was hit by a passing car. A woman was driving north on the highway during that time and tried to veer out of the way to avoid the fire truck. FF Speciale saw the car coming and tried to get out of the road, but was hit.

Funeral details for Firefighter Jerome Guise of the Citizen’s Fire Company of Mt Holly Springs, are as follows. FF Guise was a father of three and has served the fire company for 17 years.

His funeral will be held at Carlisle Evangelical Free Church at 290 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, with visitation from 9-11AM. A funeral service with full honors will be held immediately afterward. Following the service, a procession will leave from the church and go past the fire company’s Village Station in Boiling Springs before continuing on to the Mount Holly station on Chestnut Street in the borough.

FF Guise’s family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Citizens Fire Company #1, 100 Chestnut St., Mount Holly Springs, PA 17065, or to the Jerome Guise Memorial Fund, F&M Trust Bank, 3 E. First St., Boiling Springs, PA 17007. Donations to the memorial fund may also be dropped off at any F&M Trust Bank location.
