TOWN OF OSWEGATCHIE, New York (WWNY) – There were no injuries reported in a helicopter crash at Ogdensburg International Airport Saturday.
According to Heuvelton 2nd assistant chief Dylan Barton, fire crews found a crashed white helicopter, but no pilot.
Airport staff were able to contact the owner who came back to the airport to help answer questions.
The pilot was the only person in the helicopter and was uninjured. The helicopter did sustain extensive damage.
Barton says the helicopter is kept at the airport and the pilot uses it frequently.
It’s unclear at this time how the crash occurred.
