CENTRAL, S.C. —
A plane landed in a field Saturday afternoon, after reported engine issues.
Officials at the scene said the plane had engine issues and landed in the field.
The owner of the plane said he was taking it out for a leisurely flight, when he began having engine trouble.
He said he landed the plane on Bishop Branch Road near Pendleton, and went down the road, before he pulled into someone’s driveway.
We’re told a mailbox was damaged.
No injuries were reported.
