Various fire and medical units, including an air ambulance, were launched automatically to the scene – but it turned out none of them were needed.

No one was hurt after an aircraft crash-landed in a field in Hunt County on Thursday.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Kyle Bradford, the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. while the plane was attempting to land at the Caddo Mills Municipal Airport.

Various fire and medical units, including an air ambulance, were launched automatically to the scene – but it turned out none of them were needed.

Bradford said both the pilot and co-pilot were OK. In fact, both individuals reportedly walked up to the airport and returned to the scene on their own.
