A Pegasus Airlines Airbus A320-200N, registration TC-NBH performing flight PC-939 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey) to Basel/Mulhouse (Switzerland/France), performed a normal descend and approach to Basel’s runway 15, no holdings and no delay vectors, and subsequently landed on Basel’s runway 15 at 12:05L (11:05Z). However, the nose gear was tilted by 90 degrees, both nose tyres burst, one of the nose wheels was ground down before the aircraft came to a stand still on the runway center line.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Basel 9 hours after landing.
