NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) – Emergency crews responded to a plane crash in Harvey County.

Officials said the plane was trying to land at the Newton City-County Airport when it lost power and crashed. The plane landed upside down with its wheels in the air. The pilot was not hurt.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating. The Federal Aviation Administration has been contacted.
