Around 12:45 p.m. emergency crews responded after the small 7-seat jet went off the runway and into a grassy area, according to Zach Burch with the Naples Airport Authority.

First responders showed up within minutes and determined no one was injured in the botched landing.

Officials identified the plane as a Raytheon Hawker Premiere.

Naples Fire-Rescue, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the National Transportation Safety Board all responded to the incident.

One runway is shut down while the plane is being recovered and another remains open, officials said.
