A flight arriving in Bogotá from Orlando, United States, had to maneuver emergency after getting entangled in what would be a pyrotechnic balloon.
The Avianca flight would be arriving in El Dorado on the night of December 31 when it hit the apparently plastic object and had to make an emergency landing, according to ‘Webinfomil’ .
Images were shared on social media showing that at least one of the aircraft’s wings, an Airbus A320, was almost completely entangled in plastic, including the left turbine .
The Civil Aeronautics asked to avoid the launching of balloons and pyrotechnics near airports due to the danger it represents for airplanes and travelers.
Until the publication of this article, neither the airline nor the airport had commented on the matter.
