LIMINGTON, Maine (WABI) – Maine State Police say a small plane crashed Thursday afternoon in Limington.
They say they responded to the area of the Limington-Harmon Airport around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a plane crash.
Officials say the pilot, 62-year-old Bradley Marston of Windham, was walking around the scene when the trooper arrived.
Marston told police that the plane had engine failure just after taking off from the Limington Airport. The plane crashed less than a mile west of the airport.
Officials say Marston was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities secured the crash site until the Federal Aviation Administration arrived to process the scene.
