SHELBURNE, Vt. (WCAX) A small plane crashed in Shelburne Friday. It happened on Dorset Street right in someone’s yard.

The 911 call came in at about 2:40 p.m. from an area resident reporting that a small plane had gone down.

The plane has extensive damage.

Police say Carraway was working for GV AIR INC out of Florida performing air surveying.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including Shelburne Police, Rescue, Vermont State Police and the VTANG Fire Department. The incident is still under investigation.
