Two people were injured after a small plane made a crash landing at an airfield in Sandy. 

According to the Sandy Fire District, the incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday at McKinnon Airpark, which is now a privately-owned airfield located at 12930 SE Ten Eyck Road.

The crash happened towards the end of the annual Fly-In Cruise-In charity event put on by the Sandy Kiwanis.

A small Cessna aircraft that was coming in for a landing somehow crashed and rolled over at least once, according to Sandy Fire.

Four people were on board the plane at the time. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the other two were not injured.
