A plane made an emergency landing on a street in Fishers Wednesday evening, according to fire department officials.  

The Fishers Fire Department said the plane landed near 96th Street and Covington Boulevard. No one was injured.  

Capt. John Mehling with the fire department told IndyStar that crews got the emergency call at 6:26 p.m. He said the report lists “mechanical” as a reason for the unexpected landing, but did not have further details.
