ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A small plane had a landing gear malfunction Tuesday as it came in for a landing at Northeast Florida Regional Airport.

The plane skidded to a halt after its landing gear collapsed. Fire rescue checked on the pilot, who was not injured.

The plane was towed to a hangar for repairs.
