Of note, our condolences to the families and friends of Retired Northwest Fire District Fire Chief Jeff Piechura and pilot Matthew Miller, the two firefighting personnel who were killed in the line of duty after their aircraft crashed while performing aerial reconnaissance and command and control over the Cedar Basin Fire burning in Arizona. May they Rest in Peace!
