This weekend we in the ARFF Working Group community were saddened to hear of the passing earlier this month of Ken Gilliam, a great friend to the fire service in general, but the ARFF community in particular.
Ken was known to us through his job with the Federal Aviation Administration and the NFPA where his work with aviation safety and aircraft rescue and firefighting was greatly respected and admired. Ken has always been identified as a “Southern Gentleman” with a kind heart…
