Of note, the FAA has released an updated version of the document “Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Strategies and Tactical Considerations for New Large Aircraft” authored by our friend and ARFF Legend Jack Kreckie. If you are involved in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting, this is a must have, especially for your training curriculum.
Also of note, specifically in California, is a new law passed that makes it a crime for first responders to take unauthorized photos of deceased people at the scene of an accident or crime. I suspect this may carry over to other jurisdictions as well, but a reminder of using some common sense when it comes to cell phone cameras etc…
