These are the stories for today…

Of interest, a massive hangar fire at what was originally Naval Air Station Santa Ana, then Marine Corps Air Station Tustin (a victim of BRAC in 1999). Built in 1942 and measuring 1,072 feet long by 292 feet wide by 192 feet tall, the hangar and a “sister” structure are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. Reportedly it’s still burning this morning…

Be safe out there!
