Yesterday afternoon, Chief Ron Krusleski, Chairman of the ARFF Working Group, made the announcement that due to the continuing Global Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Board of Directors had made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 ARFFWG Annual Conference that had been scheduled for August 23rd through 26th .
From a personal standpoint I was very disappointed to hear that our group of Brothers and Sisters in the ARFF profession would not be meeting in person this year, but without a doubt I feel that this was the correct decision made by the leadership of the organization, and I commend them for it as the health and safety of all involved is paramount!
Now we hope things improve so we can all get together next February 15th through 18th in Temecula, California for the 15th annual ARFF Training Alliance – ARFF Leadership Conference!
