If you see smoke wafting above Billings Logan International Airport the evening of Wednesday, May 11, don’t worry- it’s just a training exercise.

The Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting staff at the airport are planning routine training that’s expected to produce smoke above the airport campus, city officials said Tuesday.

The training is planned, mandated by the FAA and controlled, according to the city.
