This will include securing a scene, scene safety AND preservation and the unique hazards that come with aviation accidents. Medical topics will include first hand training on stabilizing, extricating and treating the occupants. After completing this course, all participants will be eligible for the Phase 2, which will be a hands-on, live portion at a local airport. We will collaborate with local pilots, aircraft operators and airport managers to make these sessions happen alongside an in-person training to touch, feel and experience egress and shut down procedures in a variety of aircraft.
