Incident happened about 45 minutes southwest of Barrie

ADJALA-TOSORONTIO TWP. — Two people have been taken to hospital following a helicopter crash earlier today near Loretto. 

According to fire officials, the two people were passengers on the aircraft. 

Adjala-Tosorontio Township firefighters, Simcoe County paramedics and OPP officers responded to the scene, near Simcoe County Road 1 and Concession Road 7, about 45 minutes southwest of Barrie.
