Antonio (Tony) Gutierrez

Tony has 26 years in the fire service as a structural firefighter and as an aircraft rescue fire fighter. He is currently the Fire Chief for the City of Norton Shores. Prior to his current role, he spent the last 17 years with the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Fire Department as the Fire Chief. Tony is a certified AAAE/ARFFWG Airport Fire Officer, a State of Michigan certified Professional Emergency Manager, a current FAA certified private pilot and has earned the AAAE’s Certified Member designation. Tony serves on the Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters Working Group (ARFFWG) Board of Directors as the Chairman and is on the Michigan PFAS Task Force. He is a graduate of Columbia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/management and has an associate degree from Baker College in EMS management. Tony lives in West Michigan with his wife and two children.
